Do it, do it

So I went to my second (and final) Bengals game of the year today. Despite the fact the crowd was rowdy as hell (more later) and the defense did a good job of stopping the run, Kelly Holcomb looked like Jim Kelly and the special teams performance was awful, so they lost 37-27, leaving them with nothing to play for in Week 17. Even the highly anticipated Chad Johnson celebration was mildly flacid when he couldn't find his prop on time.

But you're probably what this has to do with Starsky and Hutch. Well, I went to the game with my cousin, Jim, and his friend Kevin. We ended up sitting right next to them, but he warned us the guys in front of us were rowdy. I figured, no big deal, I've seen drunk rowdy guys. I went to OU.

I won't get into the supporting characters, but the ring leader was quite a sight. He just kept screaming "Dooo IT!" like in Starksy and Hutch. It was evidently the catch phrase not only for him, but his group as well.

My first thought was: Seriously? You're going to base your whole schtick around one catch phrase, and it's "Dooo IT" from Starsky and Hutch? These guys, about five or six of 'em, engaged in a game of borderline grab ass when they kept slapping each other on the back. Highlight came when the ringleader smacked his loaded follower on his bare back and left a huge hand mark. This was before halftime, and the guy he hit did not make it back in the second half. ...

My bad on "Second Semester," I still haven't ripped it. I'm trying to find a good ripper program that'll pull in the track names for this CD. I really don't want to type 'em all. ...

Happy Holidays to everybody! (Or Merry Christmas, as coach Rhodes would say, "I'm not down with that PC stuff.")
