High Five

Picked up some shoes today. It's a rarity I actually get up early to get shoes when the store releases. What can I say, it's just a perk of my VIP status locally, haha.

The rest of the day was pretty easy. Passed out on the couch. Worked out. Played some GOW. Watched the end of a really good Southern Illinois-Creighton game.

This all killed time until I went and broke bread and beverages with Brett at Blueberry Hill. The place really is an institution here in St. Louis. I think if I ever move away, it's something I'll legitimately miss. From there, I made the walk up the street to R Sole. It's still a really cool looking place with a lot of stuff I'm not all that interested. Turns out they carry UNDR CRWN (if you're not familiar with them, they're the company that makes that shirt I posted a few entries before), but they don't carry that specific shirt. Bummer. After that, we drove down the street to Pinup Bowl, which I've decided is a damn cool place. Swanky bowling alley, nice pool table, and it's not huge like a normal bowling alley, so it feels a little more intimate. After running things on the pool table, I dropped Brett off and came home to do some shopping.

Now, the white stuff has returned outside. It was just light flaking when I left the grocery store around 8. All of a sudden it's become much more. I was going to meet some friends out on the town for a drink, but I'm feeling a little sleepy and I can tell the roads won't be great, so I'm playing it safe.

Time to watch Friday Night Lights.
